The construction of the lodge is
typical, is designed with a palm roof and wooden structure, similar to
the houses of the early Amazonian settlers, built without disturbing the
jungle. There is a reception house, hammocks for relaxing, dining room
and private bungalows, all of which are protected with mosquito nets.
Each cabin has its own toilet and shower. In the evening kerosene lamps
are used, There is also a bar where you can try the local drinks, some
of which are said to have aphrodisiac effects! We also have sodas, beer
, wine, whisky, rum, Vodka etc. |

DAY 1: Iquitos – Cumaceba Lodge
Reception
at Iquitos airport, Round Trip transfer and a short city tour.
Transfer to our private harbor to take our speed boat and visit
the floating thatch roof house in the district of “Belen”
located on the edge of the Itaya river (From November to July).
Continue traveling down the Amazon River we will arrive to our
ecological reserve “Cumaceba Lodge. The reception will be with a
welcome drink made of a regional fruit , Accommodation in the
bungalows with private bathrooms, Jungle walk in the forest to
see flora and fauna in the reserve. Typical lunch.
In the afternoon we will take a ride on the Amazon River to look
for gray and pink fresh water dolphins. Visit to a small zoo,
then enjoy the sunset on the Amazon River. Dinner and night walk.
Jungle storytelling. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge
DAY 2: Cumaceba Lodge – Iquitos
Morning tour and bird watching in the wild, sloths, knowing
Hoatzin. Breakfast. Visit the native group Yagua knowing their
typical dress, dialect, way of life .- visit a coastal village.
Typical lunch. Permanent guide. 3.00 PM return to the city of
Iquitos, transfer to hotel or airport. (B,L)
